Today, a little cutie is going on her first field trip EVER and she is BEYOND excited. Since she brought the forms home, she has been counting down the days and proudly announced each night how many days there were before the big day. I don't think it really mattered where they're going, just the fact that, well, they're going.
Last night she decorated her lunch bag.....
She is so excited to see the dinosaurs and "we are wactually going to dig for fossils mommy!" "Wactually Rach?"--"wactually so mommy!"
I am excited for her, but a little sad...parents weren't needed to chaperone! I know she is going to have a blast and she will have lots of fun memories to share when she gets home!

There is nothing quite like a anticipated field trip! I hope she had lots of fun. Oh the stories she'll tell. Also, I LOVED the wordless Wednesday photo. It captured the essence of the love between mom and child.
